The challenge

Forty days of showing up.

You choose five practices that matter and you run them every day for forty days. Some days that's easy. Plenty of days it won't be. That's the point. You don't grow on the easy days.

Forty days is long enough to stop being a burst of motivation and start being who you are. Long enough that you'll want to quit. Long enough that not quitting changes something.

What makes it survivable

The Faithful Minimum.

Here's how forty days stays survivable.

Five practices. Small enough to survive a hard week. Meaningful enough to matter across forty days.

This is the floor, not the ceiling. Some days you go further. On the hardest days, the Faithful Minimum is what you keep. That's the point.

One witness sees the whole arc. Not a coach. Not an accountability cop. A person who notices the comeback, not just the win.

The rule

Never miss twice.

One skip is a bad day. Two skips is a new habit.

The chain doesn't break the moment you miss. It breaks the moment you decide not to come back.

Most challenges end with a number. This one ends with a different answer to a question you've been asking yourself for years: what kind of person am I? Forty days of coming back, even imperfectly, and you've already answered it. You finish as someone who finishes.
